Confederation of Autonomous Trade Unions of Serbia is against the draft of the Law on Employment of Foreigners and requests its withdrawal from the Parliamentary procedure.
At the CATUS Presidency session held on May 15, 2023 it was pointed out that trade union didn’t take part in the drafting of this law, which was created exclusively in the employers’ interest, and not all the aspects of the application had been considered.
That is why our representatives in the Social-Economic Council will demand from the Government of Serbia to withdraw that draft from the Parliamentary procedure and establish a new work group with the representatives of all social partners who will participate in the drafting of this law.
