At the end of December 2021 in the Ministry of Culture of Serbia branch collective agreement, covering cultural institutions founded by the Republic of Serbia, Autonomous Province and local self-government unit, was signed. The agreement was signed by the Autonomous Trade Union of Culture; Branch Trade Union of Culture, Art and Media – NEZAVISNOST; Confederation of Free Trade Unions and Government of Serbia.
This agreement regulates more precisely the rights, obligations and responsibilities within the employment relationship, as well as relationship between signatories of this agreement. In line with the law, company collective agreement provides employees with more rights and better working conditions than the rights stipulated by this agreement.
New branch collective agreement was enforced on January 1, 2022 and it will be valid for 3 years.
On the behalf of Confederation of Autonomous Trade Unions of Serbia, branch collective agreement was signed by Dragana Đorđević, trade union president. On the behalf of the Government of Serbia, it was signed by Maja Gojković, the Minister of Culture. The agreement becomes effective the day after it has been published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia.
