Trade union organisation Zastava Arms warns that the coronavirus pandemic decimated the number of factory workers, which damages the production process. The number of the infected is increasing daily causing many workers to take a sick leave.
At the moment there are 330 infected workers out of the total of 2,450. The infection has lately exploded. Every day between 30 and 50 workers get infected. The biggest number of infected workers work directly in the production because of which the organization of production process is threatened.
Due to the ubrupt excalation of the infection, which slows down the delivery of goods and the deposit of funds, Trade Union will demand the help of the Ministry of Defence in these extraordinary circumstances in order to maintain workers’ financial position which is already quite difficult.
